Job Purpose / Role

At AGCS we are dedicated to supporting our clients by working with them to deliver the best possible solutions in the management, control and reduction of risks.

Reporting to the Head of Global Risk Aggregation and Methods you will be responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative risk management processes including risk capital calculation and planning as well as narrative reporting for our regulated entities.

You will support the analysis of the risk profile of AGCS covering all major risk types and contribute to strategic projects.


In this role you will

  • manage the regular Solvency II risk capital calculation and risk-related reporting for one of the entities within AGCS SE
  • conduct the solvency planning in line with internal and external requirements
  • identify, assess and monitor on a continuous basis, market, credit and insurance risks and propose capital optimization measures
  • support stress testing and scenario analysis for our entities and monitor, analyze and implement regulatory developments impacting the respective entity of AGCS
  • conduct qualitative risk management processes like the Top Risk Assessment and operational risk management related activities
  • prepare narrative Solvency II reporting like ORSA reports and contribute risk management-related input to Regular Supervisory Reports
  • support ad-hoc analysis and contribute to AGCS group-wide projects where needed
  • To be successful in the role :

    You will have .

  • Master’s degree in economics, finance or an analytical and quantitatively focused science; risk management, actuarial or any other financial designations advantageous
  • more than 3 years of experience in risk management, risk controlling and Solvency II
  • the ability to deliver high-quality results on time while work under time pressure and flexibility in task management in order to adapt to changing priorities
  • a pragmatic and result-oriented can-do attitude and you are engaged and able to work independently
  • strong analytical and communication skills
  • high self-motivation and you are an active team player
  • great willingness to learn
  • excellent English verbally and in writing,
  • Ideally you will also have

  • Customer orientation skills
  • capability of delivering results in multi stakeholder and international environments
  • good German language skills
  • Good understanding of complexities inherent in an insurance group allowing for cross-departmental thinking and acting
