We currently have a vacancy within the Digitalization and Supply Chain team based in the Berlin.
The ideal candidate for this role must be able to manage and define the strategic development of the IT systems within the physical logistics for material supply in our production sites (SAP ERP, supplier portal SupplyOn, SAP DWH BI, etc.).
This person must also be an expert at representing and interfacing on behalf of the logistics and supply chain division for large IT projects (key areas are in project management and project planning) or within cross-functional IT software programs (e.
g. BT ERP introduction in the German BT locations).
Another responsibility within this role is to manage the relationship between the service providers from our Global Procurement Center (GPC) with reference to the scope of the SupplyOn supplier portal.
Finally, another responsibility for this role is to check and maintain the required performance of the IT systems and tool, in close cooperation with the IT department and the user groups of the regions making sure that the agreed KPIs are met.
Describing and analyzing the existing IT landscape development. Definition of the strategic IT landscape development for the "Procure to Pay" process chain, including the logistics chain for supplying materials to the production sites.
Derivation and definition of strategic initiatives for basic nutrition within the associated program for digitization;
Carrying out the analysis and deriving necessary continuous improvement measures to within the IT systems. Gathering and assessing the requirements of global user groups.
Writing technical specifications and guildlines about the software tools. Deployment of the final product and approval process within the specialist department;
Planning and management of the implementation of IT projects for the further global expansion of the supplier portal. Coordination with the relevant departments on the production sites.
Creation of cost / benefit analyzes for the defined further developed measures within the scope of the implementation of IT projects;
Stakeholder management of the global key user network to maintain and further disseminate IT expertise from the purchasing and logistics department on the production sites;
Planning and implementation of weekly governance meetings with the regional teams to control the launch and usage of the supplier portal.
Perform monthly reports and present them to the purchasing and logistics function;
Coordinatiating the troobleshooting IT operating systems with the IT department. Generationg tickets for troubleshooting.
Monitoring the data interfaces for between the BT SAP ERP systems and the supplier portal (SupplyOn);
Conducting weekly escalation meetings with the the IT department to track critical disruptions that affect business.
University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics or equivalent qualifications are mandatory;
Strong experience in a similar function / role is required;
Good understanding of logistics processes within the rail industry is a must;
Experience in the implementation of customer projects as well as IT projects and tools is mandatory;
Proficient SAP WM and IM module knowledge pack usage is a must
Expert usage of MS package mandatory
Agile Methodology knowledge is nice to have
Proficient English is required
German language knowledge is considered advantageous
