Key account manager (m / w / d) Hospital and home automation

Region Germany and Austria

The main responsibility is to initiate and lead the hospital automation strategy in the Alternate and Acute Care area in Germany and Austria.

The Key Account Manager works closely with the Country Manager Germany & Austria, Regional Managers, Sales Representatives and Clinical Specialists.

He reports directly to the Country Manager Germany & Austria and is in regular contact with the Strategic Director EMEA Automation.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop the Masimo Automation (hospital & home) funnel & revenues
  • Leverage the sales team s ability to present the clinical, operational, and financial benefits of the Automation portfolio
  • Lead pre-sales / sales of Strategic deals in the region
  • Work closely with the Strategic Director EMEA Automation and the Central team : Implement the Automation & Solution sales guidance / processes in the regionBusiness & Commercial Activation plan in the regionCompetition & Market analysisCreate and maintain reliable CRM database
  • Collaborate with the Acute Care and Alternate Care Team to expand opportunities and pipeline
  • Work with Clinical Specialist Connectivity to support customer needs post-sale
  • Support local, regional, national trade shows as necessary
  • Must be able to travel at least 60% of the time
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required. MBA desired
  • Experiences in Informatics (Infrastructure, Network, Database, , Cloud Computing) and / or Hospital Information Technology and / or in Medical devices
  • Experiences in Sales / Pre-sales activities
  • Excellent communication skills ( in German and English) both oral and writing
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to adapt communication (CxO talking, IT dept, Doctors / Nurses, Engineering team)
  • Service and Solution selling mindset
  • Clinical knowledge - Good understanding of Hospital workflows, Intensive care, PeriOperative care and Healthcare ecosystem
  • Team Player; with a history of successful collaboration
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
