Manager* / Associate Director* Project Management Office (PMO)

At BioNTech, you will manage our PMO projects and initiatives aiming for establishing and maintaining best project management practices.

Depending the applicant experience the position will be filled at the Associate Director or Manager levels. Your main responsibilities are :

  • Implementation of processes, tools, standards & compliance
  • Coaching, training and mentoring of project management methodology throughout company
  • Support continuous improvement and organizational learning initiatives
  • Cross-functional identification and alignment on technology and software requests to meet business needs
  • Maintain efficient portfolio reporting and analysis of trends
  • Oversee and manage PMO initiated projects across the organization
  • Support and develop strategies for PMO growth and expansion
  • What you have to offer.

  • Degree in business sciences, pharmacy, clinical research or a related discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in Project Management or Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Proven track record of successful management of cross functional, complex projects
  • MS Project knowledge and / or other PM-tools
  • Very good English skills, German language skills are a plus
  • Excellent, targeted communication and expert stakeholder management
  • Willingness to take over responsibility, independent, pro-active and foresighted way of working
