Job Description
Create something new : You are responsible for the development of suitable MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) test structures to verify and improve your model.
Help shape the future : You will be involved in the modeling of thermal effects in MEMS and develop quantifiable models.
Observe, and think ahead :
Take responsibility : You care about verification of the developed models based on the test structures including prototypic application of the models in real development projects.
Use your creativity and freedom : Thermal effects in MEMS can have a significant impact on the sensor performance and are still an open scientific topic.
Help us with your ideas and insights to gain a quantifiable model understanding of these effects.
Think holistically : You take effects into account ranging of the measurement setup, the package, the MEMS design up to the MEMS process
Networked communication : You will take the supervision of students.
Qualifications
Personality : strong teamplayer and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
Experience and Knowledge : profound knowledge in MEMS, molecular dynamics and experience in FEM especially with thermal and fluidic simulations
Qualifications : programming skills, in particular Matlab
Enthusiasm :
Languages : strong English skills
Education : completed university degree (Master) in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields with excellent grades
