As a Development Engineer - Testing and Validation (m / f / d) you are responsible to ensure and improve the high performance and reliability of our LiDAR system by constant and in-depth testing of its key performance indicators.

You develop, implement and evaluate testing and validation methods for our LiDAR system and its hardware componentsYou design, build, program and commission electro-optical measurement systems for proof-of-concept projects and productionYou write software to automate measurements and measurement data processingYou are responsible for planning, conducting and documenting environmental tests like temperature cycling, vibration and mechanical shock of our hardware components according to applicable standardsYou develop end-of-line test setups from concept level to implementation in an automated production environment
You hold a diploma or masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalentYou ideally have experience with automated tests, such as programming of automated test sequences, automated evaluation of large amounts of measurement data, statistical evaluation of measurement dataYou have strong programming knowledge in Python, Matlab, C / C++ or similar, ideally related to process automationYou have a hands-on mentality and experience in building and leading teamsYou approach technical problems systematically and can work both independently and in a teamYou have good communication skills in German and English (verbal, written)
