The Faculty of Chemistry is looking for a scientist who isinternationally renowned for experimental research in a current fieldof biochemistry.
We expect a productive complementation of the researchdirections that already exist in the Faculty. Moreover, the futureprofessor is expected to actively contribute to research foci andnetworks of the Faculty and University.
A commitment in the field of"Molecular Medicine", e.g. in the research fields "Brain, Disability,Participation" or "Microbial Diversity in the Human Habitat" is desired.
The Faculty of Chemistry attaches great importance to the quality ofteaching and to student support. In teaching, the advertisedprofessorship represents the subject of biochemistry in its entirebreadth within the framework of the B.
Sc. and M.Sc. programmebiochemistry, the doctoral programme in chemistry and other relatedprogrammes.
