To strengthen our manufacturing team responsible for automated electrophoresis systems and consumables we are looking for :

Planning&Supply Chain Coordinator (m / f / x)

In this role you will focus on Supply Chain Management within the manufacturing team of the Biomolecular Analysis Division (BAD) at Agilent Technologies.

Our manufacturing teams in Ankeny, US Penang, Malaysia and Waldbronn, Germany manage the automated and scalable production of innovative gel electrophoresis, PCR and NGS sample prep systems and its consumables.

As a Planning& Supply Chain Coordinator (m / f / x), you will be responsible to plan and coordinate end to end supply chains in collaboration with internal and external partners worldwide.

You are interfacing with Marketing, Sales, Procurement and Logistics to compile and communicate production / shipment plans and strategies to support overall business objectives.

You will coordinate projects such as new product introductions, product transfers and new supply chain set up to ensure that timelines are aligned cross-functionally with R&D and marketing departments and cross-site to meet set targets for volume production.

  • Your major responsibilities :

  • Coordinates and participates in end-to-end supply chain planning, including when goods should be available and in what quantity, while optimizing the balance between customer delivery requirements and inventory levels
  • Contributes to projects such as new product introductions, product transfers and new supply chain set ups to ensure that timelines are aligned cross-functionally and cross-site to meet targets for volume production
  • Uses SAP ERP system for processes such as inventory tracking, supplier scheduling and delivery tracking, order backlog reporting, etc.
  • Establishes and manages global interfaces with Marketing, Sales, Production, Procurement, Logistics to compile production plans and associated strategies that support overall business targets.
  • Communicates to management, reports progress, and raises issues.

  • Identifies gaps and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the supply chain.
  • Supports global inventory management strategies and targets for manufacturing sites in alignment with business and customer requirements.
