Your tasks

  • Head of Process Development Staple Fibers (and Nonwoven Treatment process) with budget responsibility for the FPM group
  • Strategic alignment of process development and investment projects in the area of staple fiber nonwovens for FPM
  • Support of operations / production organization with technical expertise and engineering
  • Support of product development during implementation of new product ideas and nonwoven production, as well as optimization of ongoing developments of existing processes
  • Coordinating and organizing the FPM Technology Cubes to support the technical expert network of FPM
  • Support the pilot plant with engineering and process development projects
  • Our expectations

  • University degree in mechanical or textile engineering (Master, Dipl.-Ing. or higher)
  • Min. five years experience in management functions in staple fiber nonwoven production or process development with knowledge of production and finishing processes plant engineering of production lines
  • Expertise in planning, management and control of development projects with interdisciplinary teams according to state-of-the art project management methods
  • Experience in analysis and optimization of production processes and interfaces along the value chain
  • Profound knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting coupled with the sense of high responsibility and accountability
  • Ability to inspire self and others
  • Willingness to go on regular business trips
  • Excellent knowledge of English and German
