Your Role As our Business Development Manager Automotive, you will be responsible to convince our future customers, especially automotive Tier 1s, of the benefits of our superior LiDAR technology.
If you can persuade an OEM, even better! Since the automotive LiDAR market is extremely fast growing and expected to be $35bn in 2030, this is a fascinating environment to work in and the stage is yours.
Be responsible for automotive business development and account management
Find the right clients and customers, address their needs and talk to the right people at all levels of the organization
Develop and execute our product and market strategy
Analyze markets, discover new market trends, define products, develop roadmaps and forecast sales quota
Transform leads to (key) accounts, initiate the sales process and negotiate and close deals
Work closely together with our technical R&D teams on existing and new products
You have four + years experience as a business development or sales manager in the automotive industry, ideally for a Tier 1 or a Tier 2
You have a proven track of creating business out of products and leads
You have excellent presentation and communication skills and know how to communicate with all levels of an organization
Proficiency in the German and English language
Deep knowledge of B2B high-tech industries; in particular deep knowledge of the automotive industry
You have a master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Innovation Management or an engineering background
