Job Summary : We, at Canadian Standards Association ( CSA Group ); a standards development and product certification organization, are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician, Healthcare Sector for Medical-, Laboratory-, Test- und Measurement Equipment in our new location Plattling or Frankfurt office to further position CSA Group as the leading and pre-eminent choice for certification across all sectors.

The Laboratory Technician is highly experienced in carrying out complex tests and measurement tasks and has a proven sense of the discipline and balance required for product certification.

To learn more about CSA Group, please visit : KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Independent execution of test and measurement tasks in compliance with the applicable safety requirements and within the given time and cost framework Coordination of the test scope and test plans including the selection of measuring equipment for the specific tests in close cooperation with the certification engineers Independent performance of tests and evaluations based on test plans Preparation of test protocols and compliance within quality management requirements Constructional assessments of products and systems in accordance with national / international standards and their requirements Working in a team environment EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or in electrical engineering, alternatively state-certified technician or master craftsman in electrical engineering, communication and information technology Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a comparable function Experience with IEC requirements / ISO safety standards and the associated testing and measuring tasks in the field area of medical, laboratory, testing and measuring equipment Knowledge of the ISO / IEC 17025 standard for testing and calibration laboratories is an advantage Good knowledge of electronic and technical terminology and terms Experience in the analysis of circuit diagrams You have strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, are eager to learn and have initiative You know how to work in a team even under tight deadlines Proven ability to see the whole picture and pay attention to the details, understanding not only the problem but also the underlying cause You are detail-oriented to the extent necessary to fully process the assigned tasks Consistency, solution orientation and adherence to schedules are essential for you You have a pronounced customer orientation Very good German and English knowledge verbal and written Understand how to work across institutional, cultural and geographical boundaries
