As asenior security engineer at Gallup, your job is to keep Gallup’s network safe.From testing and monitoring to assessing and auditing, we’ll depend on yourattention to detail, strategic thinking and expertise in technology security tokeep our data secure today and to mitigate risks in the future.
As a consultantto other internal teams, you’ll collaborate with systems administrators, databaseadministrators and software architects to make suggestions and providerecommendations on security enhancements.
AtGallup, you’ll work in multiple security disciplines on the latest cutting-edgeplatforms and technology. Every day may look different, but the objective isalways the same to protect Gallup’s systems and data.
Key responsibilitiesinclude :
Pen testing / ethical hacking, network / system forensics, security auditing and security architecture
Continuous monitoring of cloud, network, systems, databases and applications using SIEM tools
Assisting in troubleshooting and solving a wide variety of security issues
Serving as security adviser for application and systems team
What you need :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information assurance or related field
Three years of professional experience in cybersecurity
Experience working with network web / mobile application penetration testing and ethical hacking
Experience working with various operating systems, databases, cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and coding standards
Experience working with security systems such as IDS applications, firewalls, SIEM products and forensic / pen testing systems (Kali, SIFT)
Experience working with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, PCI, SOC 2, GLBA, or HIPAA
Experience working with programming / scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl, or PowerShell
Fluency in English is required, other European languages, in particular German, are an asset
