Job Duties :

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry.
  • Research and analyze sales options
  • Sells products by establishing contacts and developing relationships with prospects.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities;
  • recommending profit and service improvements.

  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies, etc.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Education and Experience Requirements :

  • BS / BA degree with business focus or equivalent sales experience.
  • One to three years’ experience in a sales capacity or equivalent position. Depending on channel, previous industry experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of sales growth and / or prospecting is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy is required.
  • Computer literate with a high degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar) is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills required.
  • Excellent phone skills and etiquette required, as the majority of business is done over the phone.
  • Travel - 15-20%. What you’re getting into
