The Delivery Solutions Team cares for our customers by providing fit for purpose last mile solutions in all countries. Our daily work includes carrier tender management, quality measurements and improvement & innovation projects.

As a Delivery Solutions Manager you will gain exposure to how Zalando builds and maintains its sound relationships with its carriers to create value for customers from day 1! It is a great place to develop and showcase both analytical and stakeholder management skills liaising daily with our last mile carriers in the designated markets.

You will be managing data to support daily operations and tenders, as well as being the centerpiece of communication, as you will be in touch with other teams and departments such as, Linehaul Teams, Customer Service Teams, Warehousing Teams, Tech Teams amongst others.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

Manage the relationship between last mile carriers and Zalando and take ownership for performance reporting to track and ensure carrier performance

Support projects that redefine the logistics landscape in areas such as : Customer Convenience, Innovation & Sustainability

Negotiations with carriers to expand offerings to customers, reduce cost and optimise process flows

Handle the large pool of internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment in both daily operations and projects

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

University Degree or apprenticeship with focus on SCM, Logistics

and / or first experiences in logistics, SCM, carrier management, e-commerce or fast fashion

3-5 years experience in a similar role within last mile logistics, supply chain or similar

Great communication skills in English with the ability to interact with various stakeholders (an additional EU language is a plus

You have a strong affinity to logic, don’t shy away from self-learning and have a passion for data
