Analyze customer process user requirements specification (USR) for engineered process equipment (including different technologies such as direct flow filtration, cross flow filtration, stabilization etc.
Take ownership of projects and take responsibility from the initial enquiry phase until final sign of. Supporting the technical lead to discuss, propose and define final engineered technical system solution.
Work closely with the customer including writing technical part of quotation and associated costing. After Order placement execute the proposed engineered system solution based on agreed and defined contractual specification.
Liaise with a defined project team as project manager, process engineer. Make sure the project is delivered in line to specification, on time and within budget.
Main Responsibilities :
100 % responsible to lead projects or defined parts of assigned projects. Finalise assignments according to contract, project budget, the required timing and quality including accurate scope & claim management from first contact via order award to full completion of the project.
To achieve that the following activities needs to be covered :
Take responsibility of detailed technical process clarification (technology selection, sizing, design testing etc.) together with the project team and the customer on requested equipment.
Ownership for the analysis of tender documents and the technical elaboration of the engineered equipment solution. Writing technical proposal and costing for the suggested solution.
Seek the responsibility for the proposed equipment solution during project execution with a multidisciplinary team (establishment of project plan, coordination of project team, progress reporting and cost control)
Technical elaboration of detail design (including functional specification as a base for the process coding, define and creation of instrument, valve, apparatuses and fitting lists etc.).
Respect current industrial standards applicable for the project and work in alignment to our established quality management system.
Responsible for the technical documentation in accordance to the specification fort the project.
Execute and coordinate all necessary activities included in the project (pre-Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test)
Responsible for complete project sign off.
Qualifications & Experience :
BSc / MSc or equivalent in Beverage Technologies, process engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent.
2-3 years of relevant work experience of process engineering / project management of down stream equipment used in Food & Beverage manufacturing in an EPC company
Experience in the design and engineering of process equipment for filtration, separation and purification equipment
Experience of working with outside subcontractors including mechanical fabricators, electronic fabricators, Software designers and automation authorities.
Experience in qualification activities (FAT / SAT) for process equipment in the Food & Beverage industry.

Ability to communicate effectively on complex technical / engineering issues at the highest level. Pall internal as well as with the customer.
Language skills German and English, preferably a third language as an addition
