what we want

We’re looking for a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of events on brief, on brand, on time and on budget.

We’ll encourage you to work with clients as complete partners; identify their needs, their objectives, and how they view success.

From this, you’ll curate, arrange and execute the event at hand including conferences, business meetings, incentive trips, product launches and other events, across the world.

The successful candidate will be part of the JTB Europe Corporate Events & Travel division team and report directly to the Head of Conference & Incentive Department.

To be the right fit, you will have

  • A proven track record in a similar role or related field
  • Prior experience with a professional MICE, PR, travel management or brand marketing agency
  • Practiced in managing client and internal project teams, building a project plan and timeline, leading supplier sourcing, selection and management as well as tracking the project budget from initial quote to final reconciliation
  • Experience in managing and working with appropriate staff to evaluate all events, ensuring continual improvement and quality customer service
  • A strong track record of sales success and account management in MICE or related fields, this includes previous experience with CRM
  • The ability to monitor budgets to ensure revenue and expenses are kept within established boundaries
  • Experience in reviewing financial information for accuracy, such as invoices for services and materials
  • The tenacity to beat financial goals
  • Excellent German and English verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • A strong knowledge of destinations, event management industry trends and industry specifics
  • The ability to multi task and be responsive to the needs of our clients
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle a variety of projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent organisation skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel the world
