How will you make an impact?
The Laboratory Site Specialist handles the workflow for maintenance and calibrations in the Medical Devices Department of our customer and support the local Account Manager on Asset Management Services (AMS).
This role will have a diverse and pivotal role between customer, vendors and our organization.
This position plays a critical role in supporting site initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate will be a proficient communicator, organized and effectively develop and maintain positive working relationship with the customer, vendors and the AMS Account Manager.
What will you do?
Manages the service quotation requests based on understanding of the system specifications and analysis of the calibration requirements.
Responsible to check quotations upon return on completeness and correctness of requested specifications before release for purchasing.
Leads the scheduling of service activities and calibrations based on equipment calendar and informs customer about service appointments and unavailability of the equipment.
Ensure that all compliance and regulatory guidelines are met specific to customer procedures and the asset management services program.
Trains Field Service Engineers on customer’s standard operating procedures and coordinates the work permits.
Handles all the service related administration (systems, logbooks, etc.)
Develop action plans and tracking mechanisms to drive continuous improvement
Develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with clients and Thermo Fisher staff.
Responsible for customer satisfaction and loyalty and overall on-time service delivery including asset data integrity and accuracy.
Drive and support problem resolution at account as needed.
Own PPI projects as assigned to improve business performance.
Provide support to the AMS Account Manager where required.
Other appropriate duties as assigned by Thermo Fisher management.
How will you get here?
Minimal BSc or equivalent degree
A minimum of 5 years work experience.
Proven experience in one or more of the following areas : Laboratories, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to build strong internal as well as client relationships and earn their confidence
Ability to interact with scientific / medical community
Responsible for achieving customer happiness in all aspects of services provided
Good written and oral communication skills are important
Needs to be proficient in German and English
Excellent Time Management and ability to prioritize work based on business and client expectations
Proven PC skills to optimally use Windows based software and other computer applications when trained
