Our Edinburgh office is located in the centre of Edinburgh’s old town, nestled at the foot of the ancient hill of Arthur’s Seat and the beautiful modern buildings that house the Scottish Parliament.

We are looking for a Product Manager tochampion a product from it’s inception through to commercial success. The Product Manager for Data & Analytics will be responsible for defining and developing the Data & Analytics cloud solutions, products and capabilities within Cloudreach.

This is a super exciting that role combines the strategic planning and requirements analysis of product management with the ability to get hands-

on and explore new technologies in the rapidly changing domains of Big Data, Cloud data services, Analytics & Machine Learning

How will you spend your time?

  • Creating business requirements and working closely with developers to design and ship new or enhanced features and products.
  • Manage the roll-out of the products and solutions to the delivery team and the wider business, e.g. system and process updates.
  • Carefully manage the release of product or solution features and updates to customer environments.
  • Actively seek opportunities to fulfil our brand promise of being software-enabled.
  • Stay up-to-date on the ever-changing landscape of the Big Data, Machine Learning, AI and Advanced Analytics industry. Understand how emerging trends will shape our future offerings and create product and solution strategies to leverage new market opportunities.
  • Engage with customers both internal and external on a regular basis to fully understand how they use our product and solutions and identify new ways to support their current & future requirements.
  • Run regular competitive analysis for company-wide use.
  • Create business cases for product and solution opportunities identifying the overall market opportunity, technical strategy, value proposition, pricing strategy, risks, and detailed financial forecasts and models.
  • Develop product and solution pricing strategy : create pricing bundles, implement new pricing and discounting structures.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of products / features, from conception through to launch following the Cloudreach Product Management Lifecycle.
  • Define, own and drive the strategy of your product(s) and solution(s), working with multiple stakeholders inside and outside of the business to achieve core business goals.
  • Serve as the Product and solution Evangelist, engage with internal and external customers to gather feedback and help set the product direction.
  • Work with the marketing team to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers.

  • Deep Knowledge of the Customer : First and foremost you have a deep knowledge of enterprise customers. To make this explicit, you need to become an acknowledged expert on the customer : their issues, pains, desires, how they think and how they work, and how they decide to buy.
  • Deep Knowledge of Cloud Managed and Professional Services Business
  • Deep Knowledge of Your Market and Industry. This includes not only the competitive landscape but also key trends in technology, customer behaviours and expectations, following the relevant industry analysts, and understanding the role of social media for your market and customers.
  • Deep Knowledge of Data and Analytics including conceptualising, strategising and delivering solutions. You have a solid awareness of relevant technologies from cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft and Google.
  • Curious, quickly learning and applying new technologies to solve problems for customers, to reach new audiences, or to enable new business models.
  • Creative and persistent : Thinking outside the normal product box of features to solve business problems. By persistent, I mean pushing companies way beyond their comfort zone with compelling evidence, constant communication, and building bridges across functions in the face of stubborn resistance.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills You can clearly articulate the vision and confidently communicate with all stakeholder levels : Cloudreach, Customer, 3rd Parties and Partners -
  • both verbal and written. You are able to identify core messages and act quickly and appropriately.
