This role will be directly responsible for evaluating the operational performance of the wind turbines with two key areas of focus :
Creating necessary transparency with regards to an optimization of cost-effectiveness and risk mitigations.
Understand the complete value chain involved in lost performance, either availability or production and develop or implement improvement ideas to increase the target fleet availability in order to directly affect the EBIT performance.
Be responsible for the request of technical improvements to the HQ teams interfacing with Technology Management coming as a result of the analysis as well as other departments where appropriate.
Understand the lost availability / production drivers in the target wind farms and work cross functionally with Technology Management, Data Analysis, Spare Parts Management and the country organisations to develop innovative improvement solutions to improve the performance of the WTG’s
Developing with relevant personnel reporting tools to track target turbine performance
Investigating key performance drivers and understanding where in the value chain performance is lost
Reporting of performance improvements and the results to other stakeholders
Tracking of issues affecting Production Based Availability and developing remedies with other departments
Developing cost / benefit analysis for improvements
Close cooperation with country organisations and working regularly with other HQ departments to support specific projects
Formal qualifications in an Engineering, Science or Management subject (Bachelor or Masters degree)
Several years of professional experience :
Of the wind industry or other similar industrial organisation
Working in matrix organizations
Project management tools and techniques
Business management qualification / experience
Computer literate, able to use MS Office and in house database and workload management systems (SAP)
Experienced in dealing with complex businesses
Flexible and stress resistant with strong influencing ability and able to deal with conflicts
Strong decision making, planning and prioritizing skills
Systematic working approach and problem-solving behaviour and good team player, customer focused and end-to-end-thinking
Willingness to go on business trips
Excellent (fluent) English language skills are a must
