About the job

We are looking for our new Data & Tracking Lead, who will be responsible for building our new data collection platform to centralize our front-end tracking and server-side tracking and marketing tracking.

We are looking for an analytical and technical profile, who shares our ambition to transform data into a competitive advantage, providing a superior user experience to our community.

The responsibilities include managing the tracking roadmap, collecting the business needs, writing the specifications and managing the tracking tools configurations.

You will be working with product owners, frontend developers and back-end engineers to ensure correct implementation and assuring the quality of the data.

You will also collaborate very closely with our data engineering, data science and BI teams on handing off the data to our tracking tools and event streaming pipelines, feeding high quality data for our ML algorithms (product recommendation, ranking algorithms,.

  • and delivering insights to the whole company through dashboards.
  • You will also drive the creation of a structured process to set-up and track the results of our experimentations for a wide range of use cases.

    You have the ambition and potential to build and lead your own team as we grow, but you are ready to get your hands on implementation / delivery work for the first year.

    Who you are

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the area of data tracking.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Experienced with Mobile tracking (Firebase, Adjust etc).
  • Experienced with Segment / Snowplow frameworks (or similar) is a plus.
  • Experienced with AB Testing tracking and reporting.
  • Familiar with data warehousing (e.g. Snowflake) and BI tools such as Tableau.
  • Excellent analytical skills with proven experience using SQL.
  • Ability to read / write JavaScript is a plus.
  • Team-player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Fluency in English.
