Your role : Designing the future of global trade We are looking for a Product Designer to work on products that serve clients, partners and operation teams around the world.
The right candidate is curious and ambitious to find simple solutions to challenges in a complex business domain.
Advocate for customer centricity and end-to-end product thinking.
Drive the end-to-end design process in your product area : from defining problems and generating solutions to user testing and implementing your high-fidelity design to production.
Co-own the product discovery process together with our product managers.
Formulate hypotheses together with Product Managers and turn conceptual ideas into high-quality design solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define feature requirements based on empirical data, usability findings, market research and proven UCD principles.
Create design deliverables including user flows, interaction and visual design.
Drive experimentation and create prototypes from low to high fidelity.
Measure the success of your solutions, using both qualitative and quantitative methods, and iterate when needed.
Collaborate with engineers to reach high-quality implementation.
Incorporate and contribute to Forto’s growing design system.
What you bring
The ideal candidate for this role is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and eager to learn with us as we change the future of global trade.
2-3+ years relevant experience with end-to-end product design
Ability to think through complex interactions
Outcome-driven design approach
Experience in contributing to User Research activities
Experience in validating design solutions using qualitative and quantitative methods
Ability to articulate design decisions, with an iterative mindset and openness to learn and adapt
Fluent in English, German is a plus.
