Digital I&T Portfolio and Value Realization is responsible for portfolio management and prioritization, framing the value of strategic initiatives, and value capture (of top and bottom-line growth) for the enterprise.
Central to this work is developing, accelerating, and operating a living portfolio with direct links to strategy. The role will bring best practices to the development and operation of the portfolio, quickening its implementation through governance, technology trends, data assets, and budget and program oversight.
Closely tied to the digital, information, and technology strategies, this position will work across organizations to ensure timely program execution and differential value.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities : List the roles and responsibilities of the position (please limit the number of responsibilities to the primary ten.)
Create a framework for actively managing the portfolio in language of business, providing clear choices and path for decision-making.
Solicit input for stakeholder demands, priorities, and business imperatives.
Establish practices for investment opportunity evaluation, including a living portfolio process to manage the risk of longer-term programs.
Enable enterprise prioritization process for investments in information and technology, ensuring a strong link between governance, strategy, architecture, and program execution.
Educate and engage key stakeholders on the business implications of portfolio decisions. .
Partner with finance to ensure financial expression of digital technology investments
Create and enable the mechanics for Digital, Information, and Technology Quarterly
Business Reviews. Ensure a sustainable model for governance of technology investments.
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Economics and Analytics, or Finance; Masters degree preferred
10+ years' relevant IT experience
4+ years' managerial experience and / or demonstrated leadership experience
Experience managing IT projects within a global environment
Pharma / Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience desirable
Demonstrated ability to influence at all organizational levels through clear, concise, and impactful verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build, mentor and grow a high performing and cohesive team
Adaptable to handle a fast-paced working environment
Exceptional listener and collaborator
