You execute flight mechanics simulation activities to answer military fighter aircraft needs during the full product life cycle.
You take responsibility for individual clearance assessment tasks.
You perform linear and non-linear simulations required for clearance activities.
You are responsible for the preparation of existing simulation models, check cases and input data.
You interact with interface disciplines such as aerodynamics, fuel / stores, system design, loads, safety, etc.
You develop new flight mechanics models, vehicle simulation and tools for handling qualities.
You are responsible for the maintenance and update of existing tools.
Technical university degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on aerospace engineering or comparable
Technical knowledge in the field of flight dynamics, flight mechanics, handling qualities
Understanding of the overall flight control system
Programming skills at least one common programming language (C, C++, Java), preferably also programming competences with FORTRAN
Skills with Matlab / Simulink
Multidisciplinary understanding of flight physics (Aircraft performance, Propulsion Systems, Aerodynamics, Mass Properties)
Language Skills : Business fluent in English; basic knowledge in German
