YOUR ROLEThe owner of the job is responsible for leading customer and norm requirements into approved Software releases through planning, tracking and
executing SW architecture, design, implementation, testing and verification work packages fulfilling budget, quality and time targets. The position
holder is responsible to predict, plan and request the required resources within vehicle control projects and product development. Lead of
interfacing functions and related process and tool improvement activities is included in the scope of this position.
Responsible for a TCMS project or product development : plan, control and monitor the project and take ownership of technical
solutions, quality, budget and timeline.
Direct technical coordination of team of TCMS engineers.
Representation of TCMS ENG in bids / tenders.
Represent the TCMS project or product development and its interest in the vehicle project team
Technical negotiations with suppliers, customers and authorities.
Participant in project budget review.
Definition of interfaces to other systems and functions.
Define working strategies in the project, like safety plans, test plans, development plans, V&V plans, SW Quality assurance plans,
configuration management plans.
Present TCMS project / product and KPIs to lower and medium line management.YOUR TASKS
Technical and project related lead of software development and testing team, e.g. through team meetings, daily communication, task allocation, progress tracking, problem solving.
Create, review and improve vehicle and software concepts and requirements.
Evaluation of technical requirements and solutions during the bid and execution phase.
Create, track and comply to project plans and development work packages, risk and issue handling, report project progress / issue to Intermediate Management.
Interface to other functions and external contacts, e. g. through documentation, specification reviews, JDDP
Review and improve process descriptions and tools
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Education
Master or Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Number of years of experience required by this position : 5 yearsRelevant experience
Experience in leading Software projects
Experience in Software development
Experience in development of safety systems (railway, aerospace, military)
Experience with product based multi-project development
SW development process and quality assurance
Testing environment and tools
Language skillsFluency in Germany and English
