Head of Finance (m / f / d) Germany

Howyou will create an impact :
Showcase your leadership skills as the head of finance for Simon-Kucher’s German legal entities
Draw on your management experience to oversee the local accounting team (currently six team members) and ensure efficient collaboration with the centralized team for project setups and billings in SAP
Leverage your knowledge of accounting and the German Commercial Code (HGB) to manage month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare financial statements
Use your eye for detail to ensure compliance with corporate policies and local laws
Apply your communication skills to liaise with the external tax consultant to ensure tax compliance
Serve as a sparring partner to upper management and the Partnership for all aspects of accounting and taxation
Collaborate with the global CFO and Corporate Finance team to develop standardized financial processes on a global scale;
help develop an efficient lead-to-cash process in the course of our SAP S / 4HANA project
Draw on your work experience to support global finance projects and initiatives (e.g., SAP rollouts in local markets, digitalization of commercial workflows)
Tap your expertise to develop accounting best practices in collaboration with local accounting teams in the US, UK, France, Switzerland, Singapore, and Netherlands
Use your expertise to develop cash management and cash forecasts for Germany
Use your unique perspective to develop and implement efficient financial workflows in our newly founded software entities
Report directly to the Global CFO
About you :
Eager to utilize the knowledge gained from your Master of Business Administration or a similar qualification
Ready to draw on your minimum of five years of work experience in an international business environment
Confident in your extensive knowledge of German tax laws and experience with transfer pricing rules
Comfortable using MS Office, SAP, and reporting systems
Proficient in English and German
Team-oriented, organized, and analytical personality
Passionate about driving change
