MuleSoft is looking for a motivated Solution Consultant to join our Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team, who are instrumental to MuleSoft’s growth.

As a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant, you will act as an advisor to prospective customers. In your role you help Customers to understand how they can bring together digital investments and enable faster change and innovation.

The MuleSoft Sales team will rely on your technical and product expertise throughout the sales cycle. You will be an integral part of the success for both our customers and sales team by performing technical discovery qualification, making architectural recommendations for the solution, delivering product demonstrations, validation Events like Test Installs, Workshops and many more.

As a curious customer advocate, you will connect the dots between the technical solution to business value for the customer.

These are the core skills you'll need to be successful :

B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience

Track record of presales / solution engineering, consultancy, product management, delivery or training success for a software solution organisation.

We are open to a variety of backgrounds for the role.

Good understanding of business requirements and translating the customers’ needs into a compelling vision and roadmap.

Experiences with Software or Web Development e.g. Java, C, Python, Middleware and Integration or SaaS and Cloud Technologies

Presentation abilities and composure in front of technical and business audiences

Good and empathetic listener, laser-focused on customer success

Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in dynamic, energising environments

Mindset of curiosity : likes to search out information and experimenting why and how things happen

Willing and able to travel occasionally

Fluent German and English

What you’ll achieve :

3 months :

Become certified in MuleSoft’s Developer trainings

get embedded into our Team and Company Culture

Complete MuleSoft’s Kickstart sales training

Begin to build your architecture reframe and white-boarding skills through shadowing and customer-scenario role playing

receive continuous Feedback and Coaching by your Peers and Manager

12 months :

Become certified in all Product, Architecture, and Sales Messaging trainings

Participate in further Development and Training Challenges

Partner with Accounts Executives on account planning and strategy and help marketing with evangelism activities (writing blogs, participating in demo-driven webinars, speaking at industry events, etc.

Scope, plan and deliver product presentations and demonstrations that are tailored to the client’s technical requirements and audience

Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) as part of an account team to demonstrate the art of the possible
