The jobholder (f / m / d) works as a Commodity Manager Engineering Services and the main tasks at Airbus Defence and space (AGO) Taufkirchen are :

  • Accountable for leading the MFT / MDT (with possible delegation to Buyer). Be the entry point to Company for commodity management (per commodity products / services)
  • Establish, implement and improve commodity strategy
  • Implement the procurement policy
  • Performs market analysis (global sourcing including offsets)
  • Manage sourcing (CFT, RFP, etc ) & contract management
  • Contributes in monitoring & improving supplier performance
  • Identifies & leads value creation project and support product / service innovation
  • Sustains long-term relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure risk management

    • Personnel requirements :

  • Person with self-assurance and the ability to make decisions independently
  • Good communication, stakeholder management and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated

    Educational requirements

    Engineering at least Bachelor's degree

    Industrial engineer at least Bachelor's degree

    Business administration at least a bachelor's degree

    Required work experience

    Purchasing at least over 4 years

    Supplier management for at least 4 years

    Quality management for at least 4 years

    Supply Chain / Logistics at least over 4 years

    MS Excel at least knowledge of detailed functions

    SAP at least knowledge of detailed functions

    Click'n Buy (BySide) at least knowledge of detailed functions

    Linguistic proficiency

    Business fluent English

    German would be a plus

    Legal

    Ideally you hold a valid EU passport, if no EU passport we will sponsor excellent candidates for a work permit.
