As Manager Collection and Recovery, you are responsible for developing, implementing and leading DACH collection and recovery team which includes co-responsibility for staffing, strategy and policies.
You ensure a sound risk culture with customer focus and monitor and manage the C&R management activities which should result in a high quality, effective and efficient C&R management to safeguard that the portfolio is managed within the DACH risk appetite, controls and C&R policies.

In order to successfully respond to the challenges of the role, the ideal candidate should exhibit or possess the following characteristics and experience :
Master’s degree in business economics or law.
At least 6 year of relevant working experience in the risk domain. Experience in the Recovery domain is a Must-have, especially in the German insolvency law and the field of reorganisation.
Experience in managing teams in a financial services organization.
Experience in a matrix organization.
Familiar with the Leasing products of a financial services organization.
Fluent in German, English, Skills in Dutch
Excellent communication skills and customer facing experiences.
Commercial, analytical, innovative and entrepreneurial.

YOU CAN :
Contribute to the formulation of the DACH Risk and C&R strategy for the region
Initiate, co-develop and implement Collection & Recovery (C&R) policies, processes, systems, methods, procedures, mandates and tools for the region, in order to set the basis and preconditions for achieving the C&R objectives in an optimal structured way.
Monitor and manage country credit risk cost development (together with Manager Credit) and C&R portfolio.
Ensure all C&R periodical and ad hoc reporting is completed accurately and timely, for management and credit risk committees.
Participate in or facilitate relevant projects in support of required changes concerning tools, processes and procedures.
Ensure and execute adequate and timely management of the (collection and) recovery process with highly complex (classified) accounts and high risk factor cases.
Manage and liaise with all business relations and stakeholders with respect to portfolio management
