    Tasks & responsibilities

  • As Head of GBS Process Management Engineering & EHS, you are responsible for the introduction of globally harmonized business processes and application systems in the area of Plant Maintenance, Engineering and EHS, always considering BI's strategic objectives and the needs of the business units and Corporate Functions.
  • The digitalization of Boehringer Ingelheim within the area of Engineering, with IoT, predictive maintenance and digital calibration is your goal towards the future.
  • You are responsible for the governance and design of the processes and create global standards for Business Units Human Pharma, Animal Health and BioPharma.
  • With your global mindset and your awareness of local requirements you drive the continuous improvement, the implementation and deployment of the processes in all BI sites worldwide together with your colleagues from IT.
  • You manage existing processes and applications and ensure business support, training, validation, governance, handling of new demands, measuring KPIs, continuous improvement and key user management.
  • As supervisor, you enable your team of Process Managers as leader to be global subject matter experts and consultants to key stakeholders in business units and functions, on global and local level.
  • In your role as project manager for strategic projects, you create outstanding results and in your role as team lead, you develop your team according to Agility, Accountability & Intrapreneurship (AAI) in order to ensure a competitive talent pipeline in our enabling function organization Global Business Services.
  • Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a process area relevant for maintenance and engineering
  • Several years of experience in the process domain, the implementation in SAP or other relevant standard software, Computer System Validation, GxP and other regulatory requirements
  • Several years of experience in leading projects with a proven track record
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills as well as very good stakeholder management
  • The global nature of this task requires being fluent in English, German language skills are preferred, and further foreign languages would be an asset
  • For this international position you travel regularly (up to 30% of your working time)
