As a result of our continued growth, we’re looking for a talented Field Marketing Specialist for Mid-Market & Channel for the D-
A-CH market, to be based out of our Frankfurt office. We’re expanding our sales and marketing efforts across the EMEA region, as we continue our mission to help people see and understand their data.
The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing an integrated marketing strategy across all assigned market segments that result in the execution of customer driven, locally relevant marketing campaigns and programs that will increase pipeline, accelerate revenue creation as well as positively impact the Tableau brand equity in-country.
Some of the things you’ll be doing will include
Demand generation Work with the commercial team to develop local demand and lead generation programs
Events - Identify appropriate events (own and third party) across Tableau’s target markets, plan and execute events, ensure success from branding, promotions, and follow-
up as well as develop and execute Tableau’s field events in local markets.
New Markets Research and assess new ways to drive new leads, leveraging various media, targeted lists, and other opportunities to get out there.
Database Marketing Understand the best ways to segment and leverage this asset to drive more results.
Analytics Use tools like Tableau to analyze lead flow while constantly exploring and testing new ways to drive more leads and more conversions.
Development and execution of the DACH Channel marketing plan, working closely with the Channel team and cross-functional leadership to include multiple demand generation channels, to meet quarterly targets.
Design and execute on regional marketing activities to excite and enable our Channel partners and ensure growth in this area.
Activities to include but not limited to : events, direct mailers, webinars, call out campaigns, digital, email campaigns, content development, brand awareness, recruitment and workshops.
Ensures lead generation and opportunity creation targets for all Channel marketing activities are forecasted, planned for and met, including establishing lead generation metrics with partners against joint marketing plans.
Manage DACH co-marketing budget to accurately track spend and ROI against targets and partner progress.
Providing regular reporting cadence on all Channel Marketing activities to track performance, contribution to pipeline and ROI, and adjust where necessary.
Work with the global and channel marketing teams to outline requirements for channel marketing campaigns.
Ensure that partners have awareness of campaigns, and there is a consistency of brand and product messaging across all activity including email marketing, lumpy mailers, external websites etc.
Coordinate with supporting functions to develop partner case studies
Work closely with the Go to Market, Digital Marketing, Field & Customer Marketing, Business Development, and Product Marketing team.
Who you are
Experienced. You have a proven track record of success in a similar role within a technology / Software company. You enjoy being the liaison between Sales and Marketing teams and used to work on joint marketing programs with channel partners.
You are an events expert, both planning own as well as managing third party events.
Conviction and Commitment . Marketer who is curious, passionate, inquisitive and proactive in terms of driving ideas and innovation.
Bringing in strong knowledge of planning in line with yearly targets, and reporting accordingly on the plans in place.
Relentlessly High Standards . Detail-oriented and deadline-driven. Extremely organized and able to multitask, as well as simultaneously manage multiple programs.
Technically Savvy . Strong PC-based computer skills; proficient with MS Office Suite and demonstrated ability with HTML.
Analytical - Tableau experience a plus. Eloqua (or similar) and Salesforce experience highly desired. Web-curious - some light knowledge of HTML and websites and the desire to deepen those skills.
Excellent Communication. Strong written, verbal and visual communicator. Fluency in German and English. Strong sense of accountability and ownership, an ability to manage your business and clearly communicate your results back to the organization.
Excellent people skills especially working with multiple stakeholders.
A true team player. Experienced in working in cross-functional teams (sales, channel, technical, customer and management teams) and in high speed, complex organizations.
