Position summary :

At Cepheid, we are experiencing a period of tremendous growth as the direct result of new products, geographical expansion and new market product introductions.

To accelerate this trajectory, we’re growing our digital experiences globally. The Sr. Manager, eBusiness Deployment EMEA will be responsible for leading the eBusiness teams EMEA deployment efforts - development, adoption, innovation and expansion within region.

The pioneering role in the organization, this leader will be responsible for establishing the teamwork and ways of working within the region, setting the blueprint globally.

While understanding eCommerce, Digital Marketing is a plus, this position’s primary focus is to act as a business partner to the region driving eBusiness initiatives regionally, drive regional requirements and initiatives at eBusiness organization, facilitate the local implementation of global programs as well as share regions standard methodologies globally.

Eventually, this person will be joined by team of digital specialists including designers, SEO, analysts, to provide platform services in region.

Essential job responsibilities :

  • Drive the strategic go-to-market development, adoption & expansion of Cepheid’s digital ecosystem across the Europe Middle East region
  • Collaborate with leadership and sales, marketing, customer care, operations to understand the needs across EMEA, identifying eBusiness needs, business case, prioritization for development.
  • Lead and participate in eBusiness VOC
  • Responsible for inspiring change
  • Program management of eBusiness initiatives in support of key strategic initiatives including change management
  • Work with teams to identify areas for further initiatives
  • Represent EMEA region to global organization to ensure region’s needs are prioritized at global eBusiness.
  • Represent eBusiness organization in EMEA to align initiatives, gain consensus, and drive global standards, execute / embrace global playbooks locally
  • Work with EMEA team locally to develop and drive EMEA eBusiness initiatives and innovation.
  • Develop processes and procedures, ways of working with the EMEA team set standard for all regions to follow.
  • Identify standard methodology tactics and workflow and ensure sharing and adoption throughout the region
  • Proactive collaborator with other leaders across regions, marketing, operations, sales to find opportunities for optimization and efficiency with regards to product or platform concepts
  • Successfully leads partner relationships across Cepheid, is a trusted spokesperson for Cepheid eBusiness experience
  • Monitor regional metrics and adoption of specific eBusiness initiatives
  • Lead the eBusiness initiatives portfolio, develop standard work to collect and prioritize regional project ideas, develop business cases and understand the business impact, ensure on-time delivery of the projects and drive adoption and deployment
  • Use Danaher Business System (DBS) and other process improvement tools to motivate changes in EMEA eBusiness organization and improve digital customer experience
  • Training responsibilities :

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
  • For people managers, ensure your associates attend and complete all required trainings satisfactorily and on time.
  • Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of related work experience OR
  • Master’s degree in field with 7+ years of related work experience OR
  • Doctoral degree in field with 3+ years of work experience
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com, SAP and other platforms
  • Demonstrates outstanding critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Understands how to translate strategy into execution
  • Demonstrated track record of strong leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to influence and rally cross-functional key partners
  • Metrics and results oriented with a continuous improvement mentality
  • Highly preferred

  • Experience in medical device or diagnostic industry is highly preferred but not required
  • Experience working with 8x8 or other customer care tools
  • 20 - 35%
