We are looking for an Account Director who will own a key part of our German business portfolio. This includes a number of key accounts with the key objective of market growth in Germany and DACH.

As part of a growing business, Account Directors will help drive new business opportunities within their existing clients and will also get the opportunity to work and present on pitches and proposals for net new opportunities.

What you’ll do :

  • Commercial forecasting, pipeline management, programme estimating, revenue recognition and utilisation reporting Strategic B2B marketing advice and best practice recommendations
  • Planning, direction and control of client programmes / campaigns
  • Leading client briefing meeting and workshops
  • Brainstorming creative and messaging ideas
  • New business pitches, RFPs and proposals
  • Leadership of account handling team and inter-department alignment
  • Client SOW / MSA agreements, renewals and negotiations
  • Senior stakeholder relationship building and networking
  • Account growth planning and execution
  • Account reviews, performance assessments, value measurement and ROI
  • Line management and performance development of one or two colleagues
  • What you'll bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree (in marketing or a related field would be ideal, but not essential)
  • Solid B2B marketing experience (either agency or client side)
  • Digital experience and technical expertise in demand generation.
  • Martech experience would be ideal
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • A passion for client service excellence
  • Team leadership credentials
  • A good understanding of the latest B2B marketing trends, challenges and opportunities
  • Ability to give give strategic digital marketing advice
  • Skills and experience in winning new business and growing existing client accounts
