About the Role : Weare looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Financial Shared ServicesCenter in Putzbrunn (Munich).
In this role, you will be part of our Accounting Teamwith main focus on the German legal entity.
Prepare and process journal entries
Month-, quarter- and year-end closetasks
Reconcile and analyze balance sheetand P&L accounts
Take ownership for specific importantareas within the accounting portfolio for the German legal entity
Work closely with the team to ensure compliancewith both local GAAP and US GAAP including collaboration with the business andFinancial / Accounting leadership both locally and globally
Focus on Inventory accounting and ensuringappropriate accounting in areas such as reconciliations, revenue recognition,valuation together with analysis of fluctuations
Support the quarterly reportingprocess, annual global reporting package process and preparation of HGBfinancial statements
External audit activities includingtopics related to Inventory
As a member of the Accounting Teamyou will look for ways to globally align, standardize and improve processesacross all European entities
Required Qualifications :
Business degree and / or professional accountancyqualification (i.e. Bilanzbuchhalter)
Relevant work experience (+5 years) inan international company or audit firm
Technical accounting knowledge : HGB requiredand US GAAP / IFRS is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office programs,advanced Excel and experience working with ERP systems such as JD Edwards andSAP
Fluent in German and English
Keen to take initiatives and a teamplayer with high service-orientation
Good analytical, problem solving andcommunication skills
Ability to work effectively in acollaborative and international team environment
