JOB PURPOSE / ROLE

Do you want to get an insight on how Marketing is working at a global asset manager? We are looking for this team an enthusiastic and motivated intern to support our marketing programme development at least for 6 months.

Department : Our Institutional Marketing team (part of the Distribution EMEA-function) has a content-led marketing approach.

We develop integrated, locally anchored campaigns that drive engagement and position AllianzGI as a trusted solution provider.

Institutional marketing partners mainly with Investment- (Product Specialists) and Business Development-teams to set, deliver and track relevant and impactful marketing strategies appropriate for each market and client segment (e.

g. Corporates, Financial Institutions, Private / Public Pension Schemes, etc.).

Role : You will work for all members of our Institutional Marketing team, and will assist with implementing marketing strategies, conducting research and maintaining tracking and reporting.

By attending meetings both within the team and across departments, you will develop an understanding of the broader Institutional Marketing strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You keep key marketing materials up-to-date and preparing marketing material for client meetings
  • You assist with web updates and distribution of marketing materials (e.g. via newsletter / social media )
  • You support with researching events, industry organizations, third party event providers and other opportunities for marketing efforts as well as for special events
  • In addition you update email lists, digitize departmental documentation, maintain tracking and reporting
  • KEY REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student (preferably in business administration / economics)
  • Real passion for marketing, energetic, creative and able to show initiative with a "can do" attitude
  • Bringing your own perspective to the team and the work involved. Having a pioneering spirit and feeling comfortable working in a team
  • Natural communicator with strong organizational skills with an agile mindset. Feeling comfortable interacting with a broad audience including internal & external stakeholders
  • High degree of flexibility, adaptability with a collaborative attitude. Ability to prioritize competing assignments and work in a dynamic environment with a balanced and composed demeanor
  • Proven intercultural skills and experience with working in an international environment
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English and German are excellent, further languages desirable
