For Valeo Siemens eAutomotive Germany GmbH in Erlangen, we are looking for a Hardware in the Loop (m / f / d) - Hardware Developer for our Research & Development department for the next possible start date.
Your challenges :
Conception and development of embedded hardware in the loop (HIL) in the automotive environment
Specification, component selection, layouting and commissioning of printed circuit boards
Procurement of HW components, such as break-out boards and failure injection units; preferably in Altium Designer tool chain
Real-time simulation of electrical drive systems and components such as electric motors, DC / DC converters and AC / DC battery chargers in FPGA-based HIL systems
Prototyping and testing of circuits
Management of HIL HW components throughout the entire product life cycle
Coordination of competence-relevant development processes with internal and external partners
Documentation and testing as well as support of SW development and test teams in HIL-specific HW issues
Commissioning of HiL systems and support in troubleshooting together with software developers
What about you?
Completed technical education in the field of electrical engineering with a focus on electrical drive technology, power electronics or comparable qualification
Programming knowledge in Python, C / C++ and Matlab / Simulink
Knowledge and Operational Experience ControlDesk from dSPACE
Knowledge and experience with power electronics and electrical machines
Preferably experience with HIL systems in the automotive industry
Excellent communication, assertiveness and organisational skills
Expertise in CANalyzer, CANoe, Matlab Simulink and automotive tools desirable
Analytical, accurate and independent mode of operation
Good knowledge of German and very good English (written and spoken)
Very good communication and coordination skills required
