Corporate Communications Manager, DACH
Workday is seeking a seasoned communications professional to lead our Corporate Communications program across the DACH region.
We are looking for an energetic team player with excellent writing and communications skills. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating and implementing innovative, results-
oriented strategies and tactics and experienced in working in a fast paced environment. This position is based in Munich.
Responsibilities include :
Overseeing local public relations, customer marketing, and analyst relations programs working in close partnership with Workday’s London based marketing team.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with the local media, analysts, influencers, and customers.
Aligning local communications strategies with overall business objectives.
Generating brand awareness and increasing Workday’s share-of-voice in the DACH region.
Developing high-quality customer marketing assets including case studies, videos, presentations, etc.
Overseeing relationships with external public relations agencies.
Driving cross-functional teams to meet business objectives while fostering strong working relationships.
Participating as a knowledgeable Workday spokesperson, as needed.
Delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction and communications excellence throughout all programs.
6 years of corporate communications experience. A combination of in-house and agency experience is strongly desired.
Prior experience in public relations, customer marketing, and / or analyst and influencer relations with a global enterprise software company.
Strong strategic thinking, writing, communications, problem solving, management, technical, and analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization including the strategy team, executives, product marketing, and other communications and marketing functions.
Creative thinker that has the ability to bring new ideas to the table.
Solid organizational skills : proven capacity to manage everything from strategy to details and work on a variety of projects at one time with varying deadlines.
This position is based in Munich and periodic travel is required.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills a native German speaker fluent in English.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Must be able to provide positive references.
