Your responsibilities

You lead the project execution in our EPC-business with projects up to and beyond one billion Euro. The close cooperation and coordination with functions like project management, all engineering facilities, technical procurement and building sites worldwide is part of your daily business.

Your responsibilities extend to the following :

  • Ensure successful (commercial) project execution of large EPC projects in the plant industry according to thyssenkrupp standards and governance from the call for proposal to end of warranty by meeting project targets regarding quality, budget and time.
  • Responsible for commercial activities (e.g. contract-, claim- and risk- management, payment securities, VAT / TAX issues, insurance, etc.
  • in proposal phase and contract execution. Managing of Sub Contractors at construction sites together with the Commercial Site Manager.

  • Development & Implementation of harmonized processes worldwide to ensure ongoing best-in-class execution of the projects worldwide.
  • Your profile

    Professional Experience

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in negotiating and executing international EPC contracts with volumes up to hundreds-of-million as a Commercial Project Manager / Director.
  • University degree in business administration or industrial engineering (or similar).
  • Proven records of leading an international team respective intercultural awareness and ability to leverage cultural differences.
  • Experience in establishing complex contract scenarios and respective profound knowledge in contract law.
  • Drive and able to work under high pressure while still meeting highest level of results.
  • Fluent in German or English (additional languages are an advantage).

  • Excellent communication skills and being a teamplayer.
  • Highly motivated and energized to achieve top performance continuously.
  • High degree of solution orientation and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • High degree in customer and shareholder value orientation.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and abroad.
