The Special Operations Forces-(SOF) Senior Integrator is a SOF Subject Matter Expert-(SME) and supporting member of the JMRC.
SOF Senior Integrators supports training of SOF / Conventional-Forces Interdependence, Interoperability and Integration (SOF / CF I3).
Support of JMRC rotations / exercises includes development, review, coordination, revision, integration and timely delivery of exercise scenarios, orders and events that replicate real world SOF operations / contingencies with an intended training goal of preparing non-conventional and conventional-forces for results in current and future missions.
The SOF Senior Integrator will provide advice and recommendations to high level officials regarding operational plans and concepts and design data collection requirements to support operational planning.
The SOF Senior Integrator will assess the operational readiness and capability of training units and their commanders and staff elements.
This support will occur throughout the full Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) process period for each training exercise.
Produce, maintain, administer, and integrate a highly complex, dynamic, and realistic operational environment that guides training unit across the full spectrum of operations.
Provide guidance and technical assistance in the development of plans and orders to support military training exercises.
Coordinate and facilitate SOF Conventional Forces-Initiative (CF-I) to ensure interconnectedness and interoperability in all echelons of the training exercise.
Coordinate integration concepts for concurrence with SOF Planner and JMRC Intelligence Planner.
Replicate the CFSOCC Operations and Intelligence Cell and publish orders and target packets for the SOF training audience.
Assess operational readiness of SOF and conventional units on a continuing basis throughout the course of the exercise.
Provide substantive written and oral reports / briefings to Observer Controllers and other key team members on determinations of commander, staff and unit capability.
Observe, control, and guides training units
Develop, review, and revise military training plans and standards.
Analyze plan, data, intelligence information, or systems. Develop estimates and make recommendations for deficiencies.
Collect data for analysis. Develop products resulting from analysis.
Experienced in USSOCOM Operations particularly as it pertains to Combined Joint Special Operations Task-Force integration, interoperability, and interdependency with conventional forces.
Doctrinal knowledge of U.S. / NATO conventional and unconventional operations, the European theater security environment, and COCOM and SOCEUR theater security goals.
Have experience training U.S. and Multinational-forces on CF-SOF I3.
Have knowledge of exercise funding sources and processes, including Reserve Component requirements, sourcing and funding policies and processes.
Possess the level of communication skills desired to effectively and efficiently brief military and civilian key team members via written products or oral presentations.
Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Ability to work long hours on consecutive days / nights in support of exercise preparation, implementation, evaluation and close-out.
Possess active SECRET clearance with potential to require a TS / SCI clearance in the future.
REQUIRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING MAJOR)
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of directly related military experience; OR 15 years of directly related military experience.
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
