What you'll be doing

The primary objective of the Senior EUC Business Development Manager is to promote and sell EUC offerings in close cooperation with the global, regional and country sales teams.

The Senior EUC Business Development Manager will operate in environments where medium to high complexity EUC Microsoft solutions and / or services are sold.

He / she will evaluate and define key target accounts and partner with sales and technical teams in operational environments on more complex sales engagements and in certain instances will take responsibility for managing the client relationship.

In such instances, the Senior EUC Business Development Manager will lead and manage the creation and closure of a strong pipeline against established program targets working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

The Senior EUC Business Development Manager contributes to the definition of the most suited business models to be used for different target market areas by identifying the most suitable value propositions, preferred partner configurations, cost structures and revenue models.

In this regard they will partner with colleagues in the finance functions to determine optimum pricing models. Through their business development activities, they contribute to a consistent go-

to-market approach. The Senior EUC Business

Development Manager will promote a consultative engagement, in collaboration with any consultants who are familiar with the most appropriate development model / assessment to help clients understand their business productivity requirements & investment options.

The Senior EUC Business Development Manager drives internal readiness and assists with the up skilling sales teams on the solution value propositions for target markets and assists with the training of sales in relation to the evolution of the service product lifecycle.

They also provide support in client proposals and submissions. They ensure that sales employees have the ability to improve attack and up selling at clients.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and define key target markets, create End-user Computing business development opportunities and qualify suitable opportunities.
  • Identify potential clients in the target markets and recommend solutions in line with the client’s needs and priorities.
  • Identify the most suitable value propositions, preferred partner configurations, cost structures and revenue models for different target market areas.
  • Partner with members of the marketing team to inform the design of go-to-market campaigns.
  • Define the most effective strategies, using information on target markets, potential clients and most favourable business models, to penetrate markets effectively.
  • Produce various reports, data and analytics on planning, pipeline and closed business and market penetration strategies.
  • Up skill sales teams on the solution value propositions for target markets, provide training on the evolution of the service product lifecycle and provide support on client proposals and submissions.
  • What would make you a good fit for this role?

  • At least 8 years' experience in business development within a large scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment across a range of services including IT outsourcing
  • Successful track record of taking complex End-user Computing solutions to market and achieving sales and financial targets
  • In-depth understanding of mobile concepts, industry trends and market dynamics and developments
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
  • Possess an excellent understanding of risk, financial and business models
  • Demonstrate sound business and commercial orientation
  • Display business and technology savvy with an excellent understanding of relevant technologies and applications
  • Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
