The Payments team’s mission is to provide a world-class payments infrastructure and offer our customers a delightful payment experience.

In this role you will be responsible for managing the global growth, stability and strategic direction of payments at Wayfair.

The cross-functional team is focusing on expanding the e-commerce platform with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and profitability, with real-time impact on the entire business.

This senior role presents significant opportunities in product development, design, leadership, and business impact. Successful candidates will be highly entrepreneurial, analytical, creative, and inspirational problem-solvers and have a wealth of relevant experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with senior leaders to define, own and set product vision and strategy
  • Develop and maintain a product platform roadmap and regularly update key partners and stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional teams in planning and prioritization
  • Counsel leaders in business, operations and other departments on strategy, optimization, process definition, and execution
  • Define and measure business impact, and monitor performance of initiatives and communicate performance metrics to key stakeholders
  • Leverage data to understand risks, impacts, scope and priorities of our business objectives, and enable the team to drive results
  • Contribute meaningfully to the development of product management fundamentals and execution of Product Management at large
  • What You’ll Need

  • Demonstrated track record of leading product development in payments from vision to deployment and ongoing impact optimization in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Deep domain experience and a passion for the strategic, business & operational aspects of payments
  • Recognized success in developing high performing, inclusive and collaborative teams
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
  • Passion for building engaging user experiences
  • Broad network into & reputation among payments peers in leading e-commerce companies, vendors and industry partners
  • Influence and communication skills - able to communicate effectively with exec teams, stakeholders, tech teams, vendors through compelling data-backed narratives
  • A mindset of continuous learning and improvement
  • Nice-to-have

  • Experience on merchant AND PSP side would be advantageous
  • Good knowledge of software engineering processes and related disciplines
  • Experience in tracking and business intelligence tools is a plus
  • A higher level degree of equivalent experience in a technical discipline
