Within the Business Line Radio Frequency Processing (BL RFP) , we are looking for an experienced Radar HiL Development and Validation Engineer to join our System & Applications team.
Primary responsibility is validation of NXP’s next generation radar chips in NXP’s Center of Excellence for Radar Systems located in Munich, Germany.
Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) bench development for Radar chip
Generation of test raw data by radar simulation software
Generation and automation of embedded SW to conduct validation over various use cases
Define and develop system validation benches
Define and execute system validation plans in coordination with cross functional teams
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
5 to 8 years of relevant industry experience
Experience in validation of GHz products
Practical experience in relevant fields such as high-GHz system applications in automotive, industrial or consumer applications
Practical experience with coding embedded SW
Practical experience in HiL bench development and good knowledge of corresponding tools
Experience with process and documentation requirements of AEC-Q100 qualification and ISO-26262 / IEC-61508 functional safety standards
Experience with RF test methods (scalar and vectorial) up to 120 GHz
Experience with lab automation and related tools
Proven ability to collaborate across organizational and geographical boundaries
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast paced high tech environment
Proven ability to make timely decision in the face of incomplete information, managing risks and setting priorities driven by business impact
