Job Title : Enterprise Inside Sales Account Manager Southern Europe

The Role : The Enterprise Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving AMD datacenter and commercial client sales in the Southern European region, engaging with decision makers at IT end-user customers to grow AMD EPYC, Ryzen Pro and Radeon Instinct business.

Primarily working from AMD’s European office in Munich, Germany, the role involves qualifying leads generated from online activities and demand generation campaigns, working remotely with new customers to understand their needs and propose relevant AMD solutions.

The role also involves working closely with our field team of Enterprise Business Development Executives to support customer needs through the sales cycle.

Some occasional travel to meet customers together with members of our field team is expected.

This is a highly collaborative position, working with enterprise end-user customers, as well as AMD’s regional and global datacenter server and client device Account Sales, Channel, Marketing, and Business Unit teams.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads generated from AMD online activities and demand generation campaigns
  • Actively engage in prospecting discussions with end-user customers, positioning AMD server and client solutions in line with their needs
  • Where appropriate, take the lead in actively managing customer sales opportunities through to closure
  • For more larger scope and more complex opportunities, effectively pass qualified leads to the AMD field team for further development
  • Assist the AMD field team of Business Development Executives in supporting specific end-user customers
  • Occasionally visit end-user customers together with AMD field team members to support key accounts and develop relationship
  • Manage budget / resources within AMD guidelines
  • Manage and update business via Salesforce CRM on time and accurately
  • Education : BS / BA; MS / MA or MBA a distinct advantage

    Experience & Skills

  • 2-3+ Years in a Sales role, including new customer prospecting experience
  • Strong Communication and Influence skills essential
  • Multi-lingual - fluent English + French required, with additional languages a distinct advantage
  • Commercial experience working in a company providing IT / Technology products or services
  • Knowledge of datacenter server and commercial client solutions a distinct advantage
  • Experience using Salesforce.com as a CRM tool
  • Experience using productivity software (e.g. Microsoft Office - Powerpoint, Excel, Word) to analyze and present business information
  • Autonomous, Ambitious, & Results-Oriented
  • Consistently demonstrates Operational Excellence, Passion and Positive Attitude
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills Collaborative with ability to thrive in a cross-functional international team environment
