Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation :

Lead planning in LO Innovation in supplying products according to (or exceeding) customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure consistent execution of all planning processes in supply base
  • Drive supply planning, give feedback to demand planning and partner with supply base in optimizing production planning
  • Drive initiatives and implement strategic planning direction within Footwear Sourcing to meet and exceed service level to the brands and evolving the current planning processes and procedures to the next level
  • Monitor allocation decisions for all production sites under LO Innovation responsibility
  • Collaborate with demand planning / CtC teams in respective markets to ensure constant flow of communication of capacity constraints demand to optimize capacity utilization
  • Coach suppliers on production planning, e.g. balancing of lines, key equipment, etc.
  • Support to constantly improve planning process and system capabilities with business and IT teams considering specifics of automated production
  • Monitor and communicate factors likely to impact T1 & T2 delivery performance and drive improvement action plan with LO operations management and other functional heads.
  • Communicate and drive strategic planning direction across supply base

  • Drive cross functional collaboration within Product Operations in identifying bottlenecks and complexities on critical materials and drive corrective actions to improve the overall T1 and T2 delivery performance
  • Work closely with all business partners in the LO in continually evaluating and implementing systems, processes and procedures to enhance performance and ensuring that planning standards are implemented consistently across all Operations Centers
  • Lead the roll-out of global initiatives within responsible supply base
  • Verify and cross audit suppliers across supply base in regards to capacity reliability, order confirmation accuracy, and overall planning reliability
  • Drive a customer focused mentality mindset across the supply base in improving overall satisfaction level of the sales organizations
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to support assumptions of final analysis, share ideas and influence senior management by quantitative analysis and / or facts
  • Solid background in the Footwear industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain / logistics systems
  • Innovation mindset enabling implementation of new production process and provide feedback to innovation teams on planning specific needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including directing and motivating others without direct management responsibility
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficiency with standard software applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MSProject)
  • Passion and interest in athletic competition, sports or fitness related activities
  • German language knowledge an advantage
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :

  • Industrial clerk (Industriekauffrau / -mann) or university degree in business administration
  • 8 years of relevant business experience in planning or similar field
